The people behind Peepz.
Peepz is built by a family, for families. Behind the app are the two of us – parents of two teenagers – together with Infinite Loop AB in Hultsfred, Sweden.
Why we built Peepz
We're two parents with two teenagers, and there's always a lot going on: work, school, practice, friends and everything else that has to fit together. However hard we've tried, keeping on top of everyday life has been a struggle.
You probably know the feeling. Practice moved and nobody was told. Milk bought twice – or not at all. The question of what's for dinner, every day at five. And that small worry until everyone is home.
In the end we decided to build what we were missing ourselves: one place where the whole family sees the same thing – the calendar, the shopping list, the week's dinners and the school schedule – and where you know everyone is home without having to ask. Peepz is our answer to our own everyday planning headaches.
We've built it for how families really look: with children with and without a phone, grandparents, the babysitter and sometimes two homes.
Infinite Loop AB
We made Peepz together, and behind the service is Infinite Loop AB – a development company in Hultsfred, Sweden.
The company is run by Robin Holmquist, with over 25 years of experience in development, operations and security – websites, systems and integrations for businesses and the public sector.
That experience is behind Peepz too. An app where a family shares its everyday life – and sometimes where everyone is – has to be secure and work when it's needed. That's why everything is kept on servers in Sweden, the app stores as little as possible and forgets in good time, and it's paid for by Premium instead of ads.
How we think.
Location, calendars and contacts are some of the most personal things there are. That's why we build Peepz on a few simple principles.
- Your data stays in SwedenEverything you add is kept on servers in Sweden.
- Paid for by Premium, not adsWe never sell data, and the app has no ads or trackers from other companies.
- Peace of mind without being watchedYour location is only shared when you choose, and the emergency alert is always free.
- The whole family, as it really isRoles for everyone, children with and without a phone and families in two homes.
- Free should be enoughThe calendar, the lists and the family are free, with no limit on how many of you there are.
- Yours to take or deleteExport your data or delete your account right in the app.
