Everywhere

Peepz right where you already look.

Widgets on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, your trip in the Dynamic Island, your day on Apple Watch and Siri when your hands are full – so you get answers without opening the app.

Widgets

Your day on the Home Screen.

Four widgets in several sizes. They update by themselves and open the right place in the app.

  • Today

Today's family events, dinner and what's left to buy and to do. Small, medium, large – and on the Lock Screen.

  • To buy

What's left on your family's shopping lists. From the medium size up, you tick items off right in the widget.

  • Family calendar

Your family's events for the next seven days – only the days that have something on.

  • School schedule Premium

One person's lessons today as blocks, with when each lesson starts and ends and the one in progress highlighted – and after the last lesson, the next school day. Small, medium, large – never on the Lock Screen.

  • One widget per child

Choose whose school schedule the widget shows and add one for each child. A child only sees their own.

  • Live Activity Premium

Your Companion trip on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with the ETA and an I've arrived button.

Apple Watch

The family on your wrist.

The same overview as the Home tab, right on your watch – for the same family your phone shows.

  • Today's events

Pick a day and see what's happening – and what's for dinner.

  • To buy and To do

What's left on your lists – the shopping and the things to do, each under its own heading – with ticking off right on the watch.

  • Trips and the family

A trip you're following, and where the family is right now.

  • Alerts show straight away

If someone in the family raises an alert, it shows at the top of the watch. The alert itself is sent from iPhone.

  • No password on the watch

The watch is signed in by your phone with a one-time code, and signed out together with it.

  • The same family as your phone

If you belong to several families, the watch shows the one that's open on your phone.

Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight

Say it, or search for it.

The shortcuts are right there in the Shortcuts app and work with Siri – nothing to set up.

  • “Add to the list in Peepz”

Add an item to the shopping list while you're standing at the fridge.

  • “What's happening today in Peepz”

Today's family events, read out to you.

  • “I'm going home in Peepz”

Opens a trip with Home chosen. You start it yourself.

  • “Show my family in Peepz”

Opens the map with where your family is.

  • Spotlight

Find your lists and the next seven days' events. The search stays on your phone, and contacts aren't included.

  • Alerts and location only in the app

Emergency alerts and location sharing can't be started with Siri – you always start them yourself in the app.

Step by step

How to get started.

There are more guides on the Help page.

  • Add a widget

    2. Search for Peepz.
    3. Choose Today, To buy, Family calendar or School schedule and a size.

  • Connect Apple Watch

    1. The watch app comes with the iPhone app. If it's missing: open the Watch app on iPhone and install Peepz under My Watch.
    2. Sign in to Peepz on iPhone.
    3. Open Peepz on the watch with your phone nearby – it signs in by itself.

If it says your phone can't be reached: keep it close and tap Try again.

  • Use Siri

    1. Say, for example, “Hey Siri, what's happening today in Peepz”.
    2. Add an item with “Add to the list in Peepz”.
    3. The same shortcuts are under Peepz in the Shortcuts app.

Questions about widgets, the watch and Siri

There are more answers on the Help page, or email us at hej@peepz.se.

Do the widgets and the watch app cost anything?

No. Widgets, Apple Watch, Siri and Shortcuts are free. Dinner in the Today widget, the School schedule widget and the Live Activity for trips need Peepz Premium.

Does the watch need its own password?

No. The watch is signed in by your phone with a one-time code and shows the same family as your phone. If you sign out on your phone, the watch is signed out too.

Can I send an emergency alert from the watch or with Siri?

No. You always start emergency alerts and location sharing yourself in the app on iPhone. The watch shows when someone in the family raises an alert.

Which versions are needed?

iOS 18 or later on iPhone, iPadOS 18 on iPad and watchOS 11 on Apple Watch.
