When does school start and finish?
Add the school schedule for the children – or for yourself – or take a photo of it, and the lessons are filled in. The person at school sees their lessons on Home and in the calendar, and the rest of the family sees when the school day starts and finishes.

The school schedule is part of Peepz Premium. One adult buys it, and the whole family gets it.
Lessons day by day
Subject, times and room. Two days at a time on the phone and the whole week on a tablet.
Take a photo of the schedule
Take a picture, or choose up to five screenshots from the school's app, and the lessons are filled in.
You check it first
Nothing is saved until you've looked over the times and subjects – a picture can be misread.
Optional lessons
Study support and homework club are marked as optional and don't count towards when the school day starts and finishes.
Copy a day
The same lessons on several days? Copy the day to all weekdays or to every Monday.
INSET days and holidays
Make a single day a day off with a note, or give it different lessons. Add half-term in one go.
On Home and in the calendar
The person at school sees their lessons. Everyone else sees Starts school and Finishes school – or Day off from school.
The same schedule in both homes
A child with their own account has one schedule in all their families in Peepz. An INSET day added in one home shows up in the other.
The schedule on your Home Screen
Today's lessons as blocks, with a symbol for the subject and when each lesson starts and ends – and the one in progress highlighted. After the last lesson it shows the next school day; during a school holiday it says Day off from school, with the holiday's name.
One widget per child
Choose whose schedule the widget shows and add one for each child. If you don't choose, it shows your own schedule, or else the first child's.
Children see their own
A child can only choose their own schedule – the others' never end up on the child's device. Owners and adults choose from everyone who has a schedule.
Never on the Lock Screen
The widget is only for the Home Screen and is hidden when your phone is locked. The school schedule never shows in notifications, Spotlight or calendars outside Peepz.

Add a school schedule
- Open Plan and choose School.
- Tap Add school schedule and choose whose it is.
- Choose a weekday and tap Add lesson: subject, times and room.
- Fill in the rest of the week – or Copy day – and tap Save.

Fill in the schedule from a picture
- Under Import from a picture: tap Take photo or Choose picture.
- Wait while the schedule is read.
- Go through the times and subjects day by day and correct anything that's wrong.
- Tap Save.
The picture is read on your phone and never stored – neither in the app nor by us.

An INSET day or a changed day
- Tap the day in the schedule under Plan → School.
- Turn on Day off and write, for example, “INSET day” – or change the lessons.
- Tap Save.
Reset to the regular schedule brings back the usual day.

Add a school holiday
- Tap Edit school schedule.
- Tap Add school holiday under School holiday.
- Write, for example, “Half-term”, choose the first and last day and tap Done.
- Tap Save.

Put the schedule on your Home Screen
- Touch and hold the Home Screen and tap Edit → Add Widget.
- Search for Peepz and choose School schedule.
- Choose a size and tap Add Widget.
Tapping the widget opens the schedule in the app.

Choose whose schedule the widget shows
- Touch and hold the widget and tap Edit Widget.
- Choose who under Person.
- For the next child: add another widget and choose that child there.
If it says “Choose someone else”, that person no longer has a school schedule. On Android, touch and hold the widget to choose another person.

What happens to the picture when I photograph the school schedule?
The picture is read on your phone and never stored – neither in the app nor by us. Only the lessons are saved, and only once you've checked them. The same goes for a screenshot you choose from your photo library.
Who can add a school schedule?
Everyone can add their own. Adults can also add the children's – for children with their own account and for children without a phone.
We live in two homes. Does the schedule need adding twice?
Not for a child with their own account. The schedule belongs to the child and shows in all of the child's families in Peepz that have Premium, and an INSET day added in one home shows up in the other straight away. A child without an account has the schedule in the family where it was added.
Does the school schedule show on the Home Screen or in Google Calendar?
On the Home Screen, if you add the School schedule widget – but never on the Lock Screen. Otherwise the school schedule only shows in Peepz: under Plan → School, on Home and in the calendar's day and week views. It never appears in notifications, Spotlight or calendars outside the app.
Can the children see each other's schedules in the widget?
No. A child can only choose their own schedule, and the others' never end up on the child's device. The same goes for anyone with the Member role. Owners and adults choose from everyone in the family who has a school schedule and can add one widget per child.
What happens if we stop Premium?
School schedules stop showing in the family but are kept, and they show again with Premium. The widget then shows “The school schedule is part of Peepz Premium”. A child's schedule still shows in the child's other family if that family has Premium.
