Two to ten options
Ask the question and write at least two options. Need more? Add up to ten.
Suggestions from the family
Something missing? Anyone who can vote can suggest their own option while the poll is open, and it shows who suggested it.
One choice or several
Turn on Allow multiple choices when more than one can be chosen – like the films for the whole summer holiday.
A closing time
Turn on Close automatically and choose when the poll closes. Anyone who hasn't voted gets a reminder first.
Results right away
The bars show how it's going, and the pictures by each option show who voted for what.
Change your mind
Tap another option to change your vote, or tap your own again to take it back.
Close it when you're done
Whoever started the poll can close it straight away – without waiting for the closing time.
Everyone hears about it
The family gets a notification when a poll starts – if they've turned on notifications for polls.
Vote on dinner Premium
Start the poll from the meal planner, and the winner is planned in when it closes.
How to do it in the app.
Polls are under Plan → Polls. There are more guides on the Help page.

Start a poll
- Open Plan and choose Polls.
- Tap New poll.
- Write the question and at least two options. More options gives you up to ten.
- Turn on Allow multiple choices or Close automatically if you like, and tap Create poll.

Vote and change your vote
- Open Plan → Polls.
- Tap the option you choose.
- Change by tapping another – or take your vote back by tapping your own again.

Suggest an option
- Open Plan → Polls.
- Tap Suggest an option under the options in the poll.
- Write your option and tap Suggest.
Only suggestions can be removed: touch and hold the suggestion and choose Remove suggestion. Whoever suggested it, whoever started the poll, the owner and adults can do that – as long as at least two options are left.

Close or delete
- Touch and hold the poll.
- Choose Close poll or Remove.
Whoever started the poll can close and delete it, and so can the owner and adults in the family.

Can the children start polls?
Yes. Every role can start polls and vote – owners, adults, members and children with their own account.
Can the children suggest options?
Yes. Anyone who can vote can suggest their own option while the poll is open – including children with their own account. A poll has at most ten options, suggestions included, and suggesting an option that's already there doesn't add a new one. Suggestions don't send a notification. In a dinner poll, the suggestion is a dish that can win and be planned in.
Do polls cost anything?
No, polls are free. Voting on dinner and having the winner planned into the meal planner is part of Peepz Premium.
Can the others see what I voted for?
Yes. The pictures by each option show who voted for what – the polls are for the family, not secret.
Can I change my vote?
Yes, as long as the poll is open. Tap another option, or tap your own again to take your vote back.
Does the family hear when a poll starts?
Yes, with a notification – if they've turned on notifications for polls. If the poll has a closing time, anyone who hasn't voted gets a reminder before it closes.
